We are looking for highly motivated students to join our research group at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Florida State University. Areas of interest include software and hardware design for digital systems, post-quantum cryptography, homomorphic encryption, applied artificial intelligence, and error correction codes. Students with relevant backgrounds such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Information Technology are highly encouraged to apply.
General Information:
Candidates are expected to have:
Strong motivation toward academic excellence.
Hands-on experience with C, C++, CUDA, Python, Julia, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
Well-prepared for years of concentrated work.
Having some of the following backgrounds would be a big plus:
Experience in digital signal processing or FPGA implementation.
Experience in software/hardware design for cryptography, homomorphic encryption, or applied artificial intelligence.
Published research papers in international conferences/journals.
Graduated from accredited colleges and universities.
